Do I need an outdoor outlet for lighting installation?

Yes, we typically connect your lighting system to an existing outdoor GFCI outlet. If you don’t have one, we’ll help you figure out the best options. 

How long does installation take?

Most installs are completed in one day. Larger or more complex jobs may take up to two days, especially if we're installing multiple zones or working around weather. We’ll always keep you updated and schedule everything at your convenience. 

Do the lights turn on and off automatically?

Yes! All our packages include dusk-to-dawn or smart timer controls so your lights come on automatically at sunset and off at a set time or sunrise. 

Are the lights weatherproof?

Absolutely. We only use outdoor-rated, low-voltage LED fixtures built to withstand rain, snow, heat, and North Carolina humidity. 

Do you offer maintenance?

Yes. Our Prime Signature package includes one free annual maintenance visit. We also offer affordable tune-up and service plans if you want ongoing care. 

Can I customize a package or add more lights later?

Absolutely. We can build a custom quote, add lights to an existing setup, or upgrade with RGB color or smart controls any time. 

Will my landscape lighting increase my power bill?

Nope — we use energy-efficient, low-voltage LED lights that typically cost less than $10/month to run for most homes. You’ll get beautiful lighting without the high energy cost.

Is low-voltage lighting safe around pets and kids?

Yes — our systems run on 12V low voltage, which is completely safe and poses no shock risk for pets or children.

Can I control the lights from my phone?

Yes — our Yard Essentials and Prime Signature packages include a smart timer that connects via app. You can set schedules, and even use voice assistants like Alexa or Google Home

Do I need a permit for landscape lighting?

No permit is usually needed for low-voltage outdoor lighting in North Carolina. We handle everything with clean, code-compliant installation.
